CANADA is a business

It's time that someone has the vision like Stephen Harper to start treating Canada as a business. We are a multi-billion dollar corporation that needs accountability. We've seen what happens when we allow accountability to slip and companies like Enron and WorldCom steal billions and finanically ruin thousands of lives. The Liberal brand of politics lead to a culture of entitlement, not much different than how Conrad Black treated his business empire.

We all know that it is hard to get the absolute best person to run in each riding. Every party has MP's that don't have the greatest skills for the job. When a party can look outside it's party and recognize the talents(ie. PHD's , former executives, etc) of another MP from another party; it's good business sense. It's about finding the right mix of politics and business talent to make a good government. We've seen what happens when bad politics get mixed into business. Money disappears or is poorly spent. ie. Adscam and the gun registry.

I'm fully behind the political decisions that Stephen Harper made on cabinet day. His decisions made good business sense for running this great nation. People should be able to see the difference and see how the interaction of politics and business occur in their own company. Nepotism is politics.
