Michelle Malkin - Republican blog Nazi?

She is a well-known Conservative blogger. I just didn't realize how fanatical she has become.I would have assumed in today's world, people would welcome comments; engage in debate but alas this female "blog Nazi"(reference to "soup Nazi" from Seinfeld) restricts all free thought. I leave my blog open to all.

Sounds like she doesn't own your comments but wants royalty-free access to your comments if she likes them. Sounds like the typical Republican flip-flop. It's almost like leaving your wallet at the door and not getting it back when you leave. Not really any different that the current Banking mess.

Realist views invite hate from Republicans

Conservative Kathleen Parker's response to the Republican hate mail

Well said article. It's weird; I'm a strong conservative here in Canada but as I follow the elections in the USA, I find myself quite drawn to the Obama campaign. It's so much more refreshing and enlightening compared to the constant negativity and untruths of the McCain campaign.

But Palin speaking her true mind would consist of baking cookies, making fun of other's appearances and stories about beauty pageants and hunting. This is the simplicity of the Palin mind. She is being filled with so much info the last 2 weeks that she stumbles during every interview. She regurgitates info but doesn't have any original intellectual insight.

Is McCain really that stupid. We know he always fallen for women in his past that have been models or beauty pageant contestants. Did he really pick Palin for this one reason? I know I'm showing my own negativity towards the Republicans but McCain does have a history with certain kinds of women.

Ignore the hate mail. These morons are the dregs of society and should be pushed off some precipice where they can't be heard from. They are the fanatical right; blinded by outdated Republican ideology and repressed emotions.

It's refreshing to read some truth in journalism and a realist view.

Palin's Russian dreams -real or NOT!

According to the interview with Katie Couric about Russian foreign experiencec; Palin says absolutely that "we have trade missions back and forth". Looks like the Associated Press did some fact checking on those words.

AP press article about Sarah Palin's foreign experience

The highlights of the article include:

"But Steve Smirnoff, the Russian Federation's honorary consul in Anchorage, said Palin never accepted his invitation to open a dialogue with Alaska's neighbor."

"Patricia Eckert, who works in the governor's Office of International Trade, confirmed that Palin had not held meetings with Russian officials during her term. The closest interaction she cited was when the Seattle-based Russian consul general attended a reception for the diplomatic corps that Palin hosted in Fairbanks."

PS... looks like she lied about meeting a British ambassador too.

"Officials at the British Embassy, when asked to confirm Palin office records that showed she had met with their ambassador, contacted the McCain-Palin campaign to inform it that the meeting had never occurred. The campaign then contacted the AP to correct the governor's records."
