A soldiers words to those back home

I know what honor is. It has been an honor to protect and serve all of you. I faced death with the secure knowledge that you would not have to. . . . Never falter!
Don't hesitate to honor and support those of us who have the honor of protecting that which is worth protecting.

I heard this quote during the State of the Union address in the US. It was written by Marine Staff Sergeant Dan Clay. In the event of his death, he wanted the note to be given to his family. The courage shown by soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan is remarkable. We should always support our men and women overseas who fight to protect our freedoms from others who wish to see it destroyed. We should always support them to liberate the repressed from the dictators and tyrants.
